Meet Carol:
Carol attended Central Michigan University where she received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dietetics. She completed the United States Air Force Dietetic Internship in Washington, DC and was assigned to Travis Air Force Base in Fairfield, CA where she became a Registered Dietitian. She received her Master of Science Degree in Nutrition from the University of Bridgeport, CT. Carol served at Travis Air Force Base for 5 years and achieved the rank of Captain. She was then assigned to Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, TX, where she held the position of Chief, Clinical Dietitian. While stationed at Lackland AFB, Carol was deployed to Fairford, England for Operation Desert Storm. After resigning from the Air Force, Carol became the Chief, Clinical Dietitian at Doctor's Medical Center in Modesto, CA and began teaching at Modesto Junior College in January, 2000. She had a private practice for counseling patients undergoing bariatric surgery for 15 years and has completed advanced training for Adult Weight Management.
Biography
Carol was born and raised in the Great Lakes State of Michigan, where she attended Central Michigan University. She met her husband while working as a Dietitian at Travis AFB in California. She has 3 adult children and she enjoys doing outdoor activities such as hiking, swimming and running as well as photography, scrap-booking and traveling.
